Teena discovered and rediscovered the practices of meditation and yoga several times after periods of disconnection and as a way to counterbalance the stresses of a busy life. The more she used yoga and meditation to notice and listen, the more she was able to access a sense of empowerment and wellbeing through body and mind. This led her to take a yoga teacher training in 2016 and she then felt compelled to share these transformational practices with others. As she continued to step into these practices through teaching and further trainings, Teena came to understand that when we free ourselves up to be truly present with ourselves, we become connected to our shared humanity. Teena facilitates safe, supportive spaces where she hopes individuals can experience this sense of freedom and wellbeing for themselves.
